Habitat for Humanity home ownership provides secure affordable housing to low-income individuals who have been living in substandard rental units. Habitat for Humanity believes homeownership is a vital step in creating self-esteem in both families and neighborhoods.

To Qualify for a Home You Must:
Have a need for safe and decent housing; For example, your family must be living in substandard housing, overcrowding (three to a bedroom), unsanitary or unsafe conditions.- Have lived in our service area for over one year.
- Be a first-time homebuyer; Each family partner must be willing to work side by side with Habitat volunteers by investing 300 hours for one adult, 500 hours for two adults in the construction of your home (or someone else’s home) and by attending homeowner education classes.
- Have a steady income.
